Levent AKSÜT

1930 born in Istanbul
1953 graduated from ITU (Istanbul Technical University)
1955 He founded UMO Architecture Engineering Contracting and Consulting Ltd. Co. together with Yasar Marulyali
1960-61 He worked in Directorate of City Planning in Municipality of Istanbul. He prepared execution codes and put into force in the Municipality of Istanbul
1972-82 He worked as consultant of ITU.
1983-93 He was deemed worthy to be rewarded by Chamber of Architects and Istanbul Technical University's 30th, 40th and 50th Anniversary
1979 He founded USKON Space Frame Structures Inc.
1994 He founded UMO Teknik Office, which has undertaken construction and management of many domestic and international projects
1998 He founded Istanbul Association of Architects and he was elected as the chairman
1997 He helped the foundation of TODEV and currently he is the chairman for this association.
1976-80 and 2000-2002 he was the chairman for I.Y.I.K.
2000 He founded Celik Yapi Inc.
He is still working in UMO Architectural Office together with Yasar Marulyali.

Yaşar MARULYALI

1931 born in Mersin
1953 graduated from ITU (Istanbul Technical University)
1955 He founded UMO Architecture Engineering Contracting and Consulting Ltd. Co. together with Levent Aksut
1965-1972 gave lectures in Yildiz Technical University
1979 He founded USKON Space Frame Structures Inc.
1983-93 He was deemed worthy to be rewarded by Chamber of Architects and Istanbul Technical University's 30th, 40th and 50th Anniversary
1989 He founded Turkish Constructional Steelwork Association together with Prof. Tevfik Seno Arda and M. Sc. Mech. Eng. Selçuk Özdil
1994 He founded UMO Teknik Office, which has undertaken construction and management of many domestic and international projects.
1998 has chosen as a member of the Architectural Consultancy Committee of European Convention for Constructional Steelwork
2000 He founded Celik Yapi Inc.
2001 He is still giving lectures in the architectural design studios of Yeditepe University Faculty of Architecture.
He is still executing the role of the vice presidency of Turkish Constructional Steelwork Association.
He is still working in UMO Architectural Office together with Levent Aksut
